I'm working with an established security installation company looking to add a Fire & Intruder Alarm Engineer to their team, and the package is a strong one.
💷 £28,000 – £36,000 per year, depending on experience ➕ £250 per week additional payment when on the call-out rota
✅ What you need: ✅ Fire and intruder alarm installation/service experience ✅ FIA certification desirable ✅ NSI/BAFE company background welcome, but not essential ✅ IP CCTV and access control experience a bonus ✅ What you get: ✅ Company van with 24/7 personal use ✅ Fuel card and PDA ✅ 37-hour working week ✅ Work shirts provided
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, test and handover fire and security systems
- Work from technical drawings and specifications
- Carry out programming, fault finding and system testing
- Ensure work meets current regulations and British Standards
- Maintain professional standards on commercial and industrial sites
Requirements
- The right engineer with fire, intruder, CCTV and access control experience will be at the top end of the salary range.
Desirable
- Additional sector-specific qualifications or manufacturer training
- Experience with similar equipment or systems
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
