I'm working with a friendly, family run business that supplies, fits, services and repairs automated gates, barriers, bollards, entry systems, intercoms and GSMs.
Here is what makes this one stand out. No call out. No weekends. No bank holidays. Just Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, and a genuine focus on work life balance from a company that actually means it.
It is a field based role, so you will be working from home with all your jobs issued through a mobile app. You only need to pop into the company site once or twice a week to pick up parts. The work is varied too, roughly 60% domestic and 40% commercial, with the odd school thrown in.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, fault find and install industrial door systems
- Diagnose issues efficiently and complete repairs to a high standard
- Deliver excellent customer service when representing the business on site
- Maintain accurate job records and communicate effectively with the office
- Participate in call-out cover when required
Requirements
- Experience repairing and fault finding on automated gates, barriers, intercoms and GSMs
- Knowledge of gate safety, ideally a DHF qualification
Desirable
- Additional sector-specific qualifications or manufacturer training
- Experience with similar equipment or systems
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
