Overview
🛗 We are recruiting a Lift Engineer (Service & Call Out) | North Wales & North West
A great move for an experienced lift engineer who wants local routes close to home and a family run lift company that genuinely invests in its people. You would cover planned servicing, maintenance and breakdowns, mainly on commercial lifts.
What you need: ✅ Minimum 5 years as a Lift Service Engineer ✅ NVQ Level 3 Lift Servicing & Repair, LEIA modules or equivalent (or working towards) ✅ Full UK driving licence
What you get: ✅ £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications ✅ Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times ✅ 1 in 4 on-call rota (£250 standby plus enhanced call-out rate) ✅ Company van and mobile phone ✅ 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and income protection ✅ Ongoing technical training and development
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on lifts
- Complete fault finding and safety inspections to a high standard
- Maintain strong customer relationships across your route
- Ensure all work meets current health and safety legislation
- Represent the business professionally on client sites
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Lift Servicing & Repair, LEIA modules or equivalent (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence
- £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Desirable
- Additional sector-specific qualifications or manufacturer training
- Experience with similar equipment or systems
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
