I’m currently working with a well established NSI Gold accredited security company that is looking to bring in experienced Intruder Alarm Engineers across Yorkshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with long standing commercial contracts, a strong reputation within the industry and genuine opportunities for career progression.
The role will involve the installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding of Intruder Alarm systems across a range of commercial sites. You'll be responsible for ensuring systems remain fully operational while delivering a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, test and handover fire and security systems
- Work from technical drawings and specifications
- Carry out programming, fault finding and system testing
- Ensure work meets current regulations and British Standards
- Maintain professional standards on commercial and industrial sites
Requirements
- I’m currently working with a well established NSI Gold accredited security company that is looking to bring in experienced Intruder Alarm Engineers across Yorkshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
- They’re looking for engineers with previous experience within the security industry, strong fault finding ability and a good technical understanding of electronic security systems. Experience with Galaxy systems would be highly beneficial.
- Experience with CCTV and Access Control systems would also be an advantage, although it isn't essential.
- Candidates must hold a full UK manual driving licence and be comfortable travelling throughout the region. Occasional working away may be required, so flexibility is important.
- Strong communication skills, a professional attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
- Salary is between £25,000 and £50,000 depending on experience, with substantial overtime opportunities available paid at enhanced rates.
