I’m currently working with a well established family run business in Colchester who are looking to bring in an experienced Industrial Door Engineer to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that has built an outstanding reputation within the industry, with the majority of their work coming through repeat business and recommendations.
The role will involve servicing, repairs, fault finding and installation of a wide range of industrial door systems. You'll be expected to diagnose problems, carry out repairs efficiently and maintain a high standard of workmanship at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, fault find and install industrial door systems
- Diagnose issues efficiently and complete repairs to a high standard
- Deliver excellent customer service when representing the business on site
- Maintain accurate job records and communicate effectively with the office
- Participate in call-out cover when required
Requirements
- I’m currently working with a well established family run business in Colchester who are looking to bring in an experienced Industrial Door Engineer to join their growing team.
- They’re looking for someone who has previous experience as an Industrial Door Engineer, is confident working independently and can provide excellent customer service when representing the business on site.
- IPAF and PASMA certifications would be highly beneficial, with both being preferred.
- A full UK driving licence is required and candidates should be based in or around the Colchester area.
- The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with overtime opportunities available. Due to the nature of the industry, flexibility is important and participation in the call out rota, including evenings and weekends, is required.
- Salary starts from £42,120 and will increase depending on experience and knowledge.
