Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance
• Complete fault finding and inspections to a high standard
• Work efficiently within a busy workshop or field-based environment
• Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Support the wider team and deliver excellent customer satisfaction

Requirements

• This is a fully mobile role, so you’ll be travelling to customers and working on a range of vehicles. You must be confident working independently and able to handle jobs from start to finish.
• This is not a training role. They need someone experienced who can hit the ground running.
• Salary is between £40,000 and £45,000 depending on experience. There’s also consistent overtime available on Saturdays from 8am to 4pm, paid the same day at £200.
• You’ll be working across all makes and models, carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and inspections to a high standard while maintaining good communication with customers when required.
• They’re looking for someone with NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds equivalent, a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, strong fault finding ability and solid all round mechanical experience. You’ll need your own tools and be based near Braintree or willing to travel.
• Flexible working hours are available between 8am and 6pm. No weekends required, but overtime is available if you want it.
